How to fix common setiptv errors

Start here

Test the Internet connection, automatic date and time, account status and another channel. Then restart the app, device and router before changing advanced settings.

BufferingUse Ethernet or stronger 5 GHz Wi-Fi.

EPG missingRefresh guide data and ask whether the list supplies EPG.
ExpiredIdentify whether the app licence or subscription ended.

When contacting support, provide the device model and exact error wording, but redact URLs, passwords and MAC addresses.

Find out whether the problem affects the app or the stream

  1. Open another Internet-connected app on the same device.
  2. Try a second live channel and an on-demand item, where included.
  3. Note whether the player opens, whether categories load and whether video starts.
  4. Confirm account validity and stop other devices using the same connection allowance.
  5. Restart the player and repeat one test before making another change.

If other apps also fail, investigate the device or network first. If categories load but one channel fails, send that channel name and the time to your provider. If no list appears, check the saved playlist rather than adjusting picture settings.

Buffering: isolate the connection before resetting

Pause large downloads and test near the router, or compare a wired connection if your device supports it. Try a lower-quality stream if your provider offers one. Compare the result at the time you normally watch: a successful test earlier in the day does not rule out congestion later.

Change one setting at a time and keep a note of the result. A speed test alone cannot identify every playback issue; the stream source, Wi-Fi stability and device decoding also matter. Reinstalling the player should not be your first step because it can remove saved lists and settings.

Black screen, sound without video or missing programme guide

For sound without video, try another title and restore the player’s default playback settings. If the issue is limited to one format, ask the publisher about your device’s support for that format. For missing EPG, check automatic date and time, refresh guide data once, and ask whether the account includes EPG for those channels. Changing the playlist name does not fix guide matching.

What to send to support or post in a forum

Include the device model, operating system, player version, exact error wording, when it started and whether all channels or only some are affected. State which checks you have already tried and whether you use Wi-Fi or Ethernet. That information helps support distinguish an account issue from a local playback problem.

Redact the playlist URL, username, password, device identifier and payment information from screenshots. Use the original private support channel for account and billing issues. This site does not host a public discussion forum; the FAQ and contact button are the available support routes.
